1. Overview

At H & B TECH, we are committed to delivering high-quality industrial automation systems, electrical components, and engineering services. Due to the technical nature of our products and customized project solutions, our refund and return policy is structured accordingly.

2. Product Returns (Physical Goods)

2.1 Eligibility for Return

Products may be eligible for return if:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon delivery
  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product has a verified manufacturing fault

To qualify:

  • The return request must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • The item must be unused and in original packaging
  • All manuals, accessories, and documents must be included

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Customized automation panels
  • PLC programming services
  • Commissioned equipment
  • Special-order imported products
  • Software licenses
  • Installed systems or commissioned machinery

Because these are engineered-to-order or project-based solutions, returns are not applicable once delivered or installed.

3. Project & Engineering Services

For automation projects, installation, commissioning, or technical services:

  • Advance payments are non-refundable once project work has commenced.
  • Payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation must be formally requested in writing.
  • Any refund (if applicable) will be calculated after deducting material costs, labor, logistics, and administrative expenses.

Each project is governed by a separate contractual agreement, which will take precedence over this general policy.

4. Refund Process

If your return request is approved:

  1. Product inspection will be conducted.
  2. Once verified, refund approval will be issued.
  3. Refund will be processed within 7–14 business days.
  4. Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchange Policy

We may offer product replacement instead of a refund in cases of:

  • Damaged goods
  • Incorrect shipment
  • Verified manufacturer defect

Replacement availability depends on stock status.

6. Shipping for Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product arrived damaged due to our handling

We recommend using trackable shipping methods for return items.

7. Inspection & Technical Verification

For industrial automation components (e.g., PLC modules, sensors, load cells, control parts), returned items will undergo:

  • Functional testing
  • Physical inspection
  • Tamper verification

If the product shows signs of misuse, improper installation, electrical damage, or unauthorized modification, the return will be rejected.

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled:

  • Before shipment (subject to processing fees)
  • Before procurement of special-order items

Once shipped or custom-built, cancellation is not permitted.
