The first units of the completely innovated 2nd generation SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels with enhanced functional scope have been released for delivery in the display sizes 4, 7 and 9 inch.
These units form the cornerstone of the continued success story of the Basic Panels.

All units have a high-resolution widescreen display and function keys for intuitive operator input in addition to the touchscreen input.

The units with Profibus interface and a larger 12“ display will follow in the third quarter 2014.

 

The 2nd generation Basic Panels offer innovative user experience at a small price. Usability in service, high-resolution widescreen displays with 64k color quality and innovative user interface provide the customer with a multitude of options in experience and handling. The archiving function with a USB stick simplifies process monitoring and follow-up. The USB interface provides additional operating options, e.g. by the connection of a barcode scanner or a mouse / keyboard.
This makes the SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels the optimum choice for simple applications.
